Update on contractions
I went to the doctor yesterday and he said not to worry about the contractions since they stopped. He also gave me instructions on what to do if they start again. Thank you all for your prayers and fasting! We love you all!

My Heavenly Father Loves Me!!!
On Friday I had 3
contractions in 15-20 minutes. So it has had us pretty worried. I
called the doctor on-call and he told me it was impossible for me to
be having contractions this early in my pregnancy and that they were
braxton hicks. But since I know my body and have gone through this
before I know that they were contractions. Since that doctor was not
helpful Mackay and I decided to make me take it easy over the weekend
until I can call Dr. Y and see what he thinks. With that as a
background I have been thinking about different things Dr. Y might prescribe one of which is bed rest for the remainder of my
pregnancy. I have been thinking through how that would work and one
of my concerns was watching the M twins. I know that Heavenly
Father knows me and what is going on in my life and it was confirmed
to me again today. I got a text from the twin's mom this afternoon
informing me that her visiting teacher has offered to watch the twins
for the remainder of the semester at her house so it works better for
her. I know that this was a tender mercy of my Heavenly Father. He
knew my worries and took care of this one even before I asked Him to.

Another attempt!
Seeing as how it has been month since my last post, in which I stated I was back to blogging, I figured I should give it another try and see if this time I can get on here a little more often :)
I don't know about the rest of you but we have had the most bizarre winter. We have only had a few snow storms which is weird enough by itself. But to go along with that we have had weeks of beautiful park weather. I have posted a few pictures and videos to update you all on our happenings during this bizarre, yet wonderful winter.
First off is the snow. We had a pretty good snow storm last month that left a good 3-4 inches. I know that doesn't sound like much but it is the most we have gotten and it was enough to go sledding. Mackay chose to take the day off and make it a family day! We went sledding, played in the snow, and had a wonderful time together!

Henry has recently discovered the joy of jumping on beds. Since he loves it so much I have started letting him jump in his bed. (Since he can't fall off!) He now comes running to me just begging to be put in his bed :) Oh he is so much fun! Here is a clip of him jumping!
Lately, I think it is the pregnant brain, I have had a few kitchen blunders. Enjoy :)

I guess I forgot to screw the lid on the ranch bottle...
This has been one of our funnest activities so far this "winter". Our complex had a barbecue just for fun. Here are some pictures of our fun.

Bewildered from the picture taking.
My little cutie!
You may recognize this picture from an earlier post except it was Henry and me. Well Mackay had to resort to the same tactic to get Henry's shoes on the other day :) Boy am I glad parents are bigger than their kids at least for a little while!
This is kind of long but totally worth it!

Snow Day
We finally had enough snow for Henry to play in! He had so much fun. In fact I think he might be obsessed because every morning he gets up now and asks for snow and then wants to look out the window to see if there is any snow :) Here are a few pictures from our snow day.
On our way inside!
So I was changing Henry's diaper the other night and he kept kicking me. So I pinned his legs down with mine but then he started hitting me... this is what we ended up with :)

Eating...
We are still waiting to get our CD with our family pictures on it. I can't wait to get it and post all of the pictures :)
Henry and eating have not been very good companions for, oh ,the last 6 months or so. I mean the kid eats like half a handful of food and says he is good for the day. I know, I know... "some kids just don't eat that much." Well when you are that child's mother you feel like you are starving them each day. We have tried all sorts of tricks and still he has not wanted to eat much at all. BUT, this past week we have made some breakthroughs with his eating habits... or tastes.
The other day, Mackay and I were trying to figure out what to have for dinner. Mackay always likes to find a carb (pasta, rice, etc.), and then a meat, and so forth. Well he mentioned rice and I said I did not feel like that. So we were about to move on until Henry started yelling, "Rai, rai, rai!" In case you are wondering, that is how he says "rice." So Mom was out-voted that night, and we had rice. I think Henry has had rice every night since then. He asks for it at every meal and downs it like there is no tomorrow. So I am going to have to find a few more ways to make rice because sticky rice everyday sounds nasty to me, though my boys would be in heaven :)
OK, next food story. Mackay and I celebrated Valentines Day last night, so I made Mackay's favorite food for dinner: salmon. I made some extra just in case Henry wanted to eat some. And boy am I glad I did. He ate as much salmon as I did! To really appreciate this, you have to understand what a hard time we have had getting Henry to eat any kind of meat at all. He does not like sandwiches with meat on them - he only wants the cheese; he will not eat the hamburger in Shepherds Pie but only wants the potatoes and green beans; and on and on. I think Spaghetti is the only meal we have made that he will eat the meat in. So Mackay and I were shocked when Henry just downed a whole salmon filet. Haha he even finished before I did and then asked both me and Mackay for ours :)
Conclusion: my son has very expensive tastes :)

Baby bump and pics of Henry
Things have been good around here. I got my washer and dryer last night and have been doing laundry all day long and loving every second of it! Henry has been wanting me to take pictures of him the last couple of days. Most of the pictures on this post are ones that he asked for :) I also threw in a baby bump picture for those of you who are far but still want to see my belly grow.
